Coir fibre is a versatile natural fibre extracted from mesocarp tissue, or husk of the coconut. The husk contains 20% to 30% fibre of varying length. After grinding the husk, the long fibres are removed and baled into 140 kgs and used for various industrial purposes.

PVC tufted coir mats are made by tufting natural coir fibre into PVC backing. The vinyl backing provides anti slip and ensures very low fibre shredding properties. The advantage is that these mats can be easily cut to any size or shape providing a completely clean and safe edge that will not fray. PVC Rolls are also available with a maximum width of 2mtr, can be produced in varying thickness of 15mm, 17mm, 20mm, 23mm & 28mm.
